Save Drinking Water

Every day, various villages across Liberia are in need of safe sources of water for drinking, washing, cooking, rearing livestock, and watering crops. Your incredible generosity will allow us to launch life-saving projects for villages across Liberia every day. From constructing new wells to building water filtration plants, you are providing clean drinking water in a variety of ways. Drop by drop, every donation is making a difference to one more person. Clean water reduces the spread of deadly illnesses, puts more children in school, gives more women the opportunity to work, improves agriculture, and ultimately revives and transforms an entire community. 

With 842,000 people dying from diarrhea alone each year, unsafe water is the single biggest obstacle to the health of communities in the developing world. Small children are especially vulnerable to cholera and diarrheal illnesses, and unsafe water compromises their immune systems as well, making it difficult for them to fight any illness.
